Location: Orange Technical College - West Campus, 2010 Ocoee Apopka Rd. Ocoee, FL 34761
Days and times: 4:30 PM - 9 PM, Monday through Thursday
Pay: $30 per hour. Maximum of 29 hours per week. Two days a week minimum. Non-benefitted position.
Essential Job Duties
- Assess and evaluate academic needs of students; provide professional instruction and teaching to a diverse population as appropriate.
- Provide instruction related to identified career and technical development according to lesson plans, Individual Education Plans (IEP) and incorporating other instructional strategies.
- Create and administer oral, written or performance exams to evaluate the effectiveness of lesson plans and student progress,
- Maintain appropriate training materials, equipment and resources and inventory.
- Maintain timely accurate and complete student records (includes but not limited to lesson plans and grades)
- Maintain cleanliness of classroom and/or work areas
- Maintain appropriate work habits, including regular and punctual attendance.
- Ensure a safe learning environment by following OSHA guidelines.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience
- High School diploma/GED, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two (2) years relevant experience
- Prior experience working with students is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain industry specific recognized credentials
- Professional development assistance

- Winter Garden, FL 34787: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
